We read a story so we could understand The Preamble to the Constitution of the United States!
We learned that we can understand BIG WORDS and BIG IDEAS!

We made red, white and blue hats and stars to celebrate! And...we made United States flags!
They are hanging in our school hallway!

We made our own constitution!!

Our entire school met around the flagpole in the front of our school!

We said the United States Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge!

We stood for a moment of silence.

We sang "Proud to be an American"!

We are PROUD to live in the USA!

We had a fun and colorful week!

Today we wore our favorite colors and made rainbow hats!  We even had a rainbow treat!

We had fun with a colorful experiment!
MILK and FOOD COLORING
We tapped the plate with a clean Q-tip and nothing happened!

We tapped the plate with a q-tip with dawn soap and it was like MAGIC!

When we stirred the mixture the stars disappeared!

Wow!  This is cool!

Rainbow friends!

Hooray for COLORS!

We like science!

 TOO COOL!

Yay for color days!

We know how to spell BROWN!

There are lots of things that are brown!  Chocolate is our favorite!

We conducted an experiment today!  It was fun thinking like scientists!

What will happen when we mix the brown powder with milk?

We made lots of predictions!  We used our sense of sight and smell!

And after we tasted it we knew it was chocolate pudding...a tasty BROWN treat!

Don't worry it was sugar free and fat free!

We only had a "tiny taste", but it was delicious!

COLORS COLORS COLORS

We are learning to spell our color words!  Everyone was dressed in black and white today!

We sang about black and white and Miss Mary Mack all dressed in BLACK!

We enjoyed reading It Looked Like Spilt Milk!

We used WHITE to make our own creations!  We also used our senses!

:)

Thanks for helping your child learn the color words!

He's really not so scary after all!

We mixed yellow

 to make GREEN!

We made "Green Monster Water"!
