Winter Fun
We had fun reading newspapers and looking for sight words we know!
We pretended there was a winter blast and we were tucked in our warm beds with the covers pulled up!
We used the newspapers as coats when we went outside to play in the snow.
Then we made snowballs and had a snowball fight!
Last, we shoveled up all the snow!
It was lots of fun!
SNOWMEN
We brought crafts from home to decorate our snowmen.
We liked spreading the snow (shaving cream and glue) with our fingers.
Winter is a fun time of the year even if there isn't really snow!

Happy 2014!
Happy New Year to all our families at Carver!
We had a great week back at school!
The girls and boys were so happy to see their friends after a much needed break!
We are back and ready to learn and have lots of fun!
We made snowmen this week. It was very cold. We talked about winter and how the weather changes!
We even had a snowball fight on Monday!
We wished it was real snow, but paper snow balls worked just fine!
We have "Happy Feet" and are glad to be back in school!

OUR PARTY!!
We had lots of fun at our party today!
Everyone enjoyed receiving a new book as well as many other goodies from their friends!
We had a "Rudolph Race"!
We also enjoyed our yummy party food!!
