First Day of School

Wow! Today was a fun and exciting first day of kindergarten! We met new friends and sang new songs! We even read some books about our new friend Clifford the Big Red Dog. The children really enjoyed exploring our playground and classroom centers! We learned a lot about our school rules and routines. The children practiced walking in a line and using school manners! The children enjoyed hearing a story about a little raccoon that was scared to go to school (The Kissing Hand). We put a little red heart on each child's hand to remind them that someone at home is thinking of them! What a great day! I hope everyone had fun and can't wait to see all those happy faces again tomorrow!!!
