Hilarious Hat Day

Today was hilarious hat day!!

We had a ton of fun!

We had hats decorated with pom poms, sparkles, ribbons and lots of other fun decorations!

We had a hat made out of a milk jug!!

Yay for hat day!!

The Smart Store

During the last few weeks we have been using dollars for learning and as an incentive for good behavior. When students were seen doing something "SMART" they were able to earn a dollar. Today students used their dollars to buy something from the smart store. We had a lot of fun!!

A Day in the Garden!

Today we had a fun day in the garden. Mrs. Bingham invited us to participate in a garden scavenger hunt. It was a lot of fun and we had to use our problem solving skills!

We made leaf rubbings and put bird feed in the bird feeder!!

Fun on Friday

We've been learning all about letter "O"! We know that it is a vowel and vowels help words stick together!! We also learned that "O" makes two sounds! "O" says it's name and makes the long "o" sound like in oval. "O" makes the short "o" sound like in octopus!! SPEAKING OF "OCTOPUS"...TODAY WE HAD OCTOPUS STEW!

WE LEARNED THE OCTOPUS DANCE FROM MRS. DAILY'S CLASS! 4 ARMS + 4 LEGS = 8 WE LOVE TO ADD!

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH OUR FRIENDS FROM MRS. RAEMSCH AND MRS. DAILY'S CLASS!

WE MADE MOON ROCKS!

Learning to Add

Today we did the "Addition Pokey", "Granny's Arithmetic" and practiced putting numbers together!! We had fun adding with cubes, marshmallows and goldfish this week!! We met "Mr. Plus Man" and we also learned that a number plus ZERO equals itself!!! Yay for Arithmetic!
