Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a Friendship Feast today, just like the Pilgrims and Indians did a long time ago!

We made Native American vests and head dresses!

We even had a pilgrim visit our classroom!
We shared our fruit with our friends in Ms. Cano and Mrs. Contreras' class.
 We all sat together!
We have made lots of friends in Kindergarten!

We are thankful for our school and all of our friends!

Wishing everyone a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving holiday!

Native Americans

Native Americans lived in villages and hunted for food.

Our Native American Dioramas

We have learned a lot about Native Americans.
They knew how to do lots of things like:
-how to send messages from hill to hill
-how to make plants grow better
-how to keep food from spoiling
-how to start a fire without matches
-how to drill holes
-how to make paints and dyes
-how to use the moon as a calendar

It was fun to learn about Native Americans.
