From Tadpoles to Frogs

We have three new friends in our room!  Larry, Mo and Curly are tadpoles!  Ms. Limmer shared her tadpole friends with us and now we are their new caretakers!  We also learned the difference between frogs and toads!  We learned that frogs are slick and smooth and have to live in the water.  Toads are bumpy and dry and don't have to live in water, but they need to live near water.  We learned that frogs and toads come in all sizes!

Ms. Limmer went hunting and came back with a whole collection of frogs and toads!  We had fun looking at them!  We learned that frogs are good jumpers and toads hop and crawl.

We are excited about watching our tadpoles grow!
