Egg-citing Egg Drop!

The "Egg-Drop" experiment is a fun science experiment.  Each student was asked to create a protective container that would keep a raw egg from cracking when dropped.  Eggs that smashed or cracked failed the test while eggs that survived without a scratch passed!  Because eggs are so delicate, it was important to pack the egg with some type of cushion.  We had fun with this “EGGS-PERIMENT”!

LOOK AT THESE "EGGS-CELLENT" PROTECTIVE CONTAINERS!
There were many smart ideas.
Some of the materials used were:
sponges, cotton balls, foam, plastic wrap, paper, cloth, egg cartons, boxes, cans, and many other great ideas

READY, SET, GO

AND FOR THE RESULTS...
SOME SURVIVED AND SOME DID NOT!

 YIKES!

 UH-OH!

 OOPS!

How Egg-citing!
