Elegant Party

We had an Elegant Party today! We have been learning all about the letter Ee. We know "Ee" is a vowel and it makes two sounds. We can read words like bet, met and set! We also learned about the "MAGIC E". We know that sometimes "e" is silent and helps change a vowel to its long sound in words such as ride, cake, hope and cube. We are becoming super readers! You can help reinforce reading at home by reminding your child to look for special letters and letter combinations such as the "silent e" when your child is reading! Thanks for all your support!! We entered the Elegant Party by walking down the red carpet just like "movie stars"! Everyone looked very "Elegant"! We had Elegant refreshments! We loved the "caviar" or "green eggs and ham"! Some kids were too afraid to try it! But, it was yummy! We learned all about manners and how to behave elegantly! The "chocolate mousse" was our favorite! After our refreshments we had had an "Elegant Dance Party"! The Hokey Pokey was a lot of fun! We love to dance! YMCA! The Chicken Dance was so much fun! TWIST AND SHOUT! Dance, Dance, Dance!! We had a blast at our "Elegant Party"!
