It's a snow day at school!

WE JUST HAD TO CHECK OUT THE WINTRY SCENE ON THE CARVER PLAYGROUND!

IT LOOKS LIKE DIPPIN' DOTS!

IT'S ON OUR SLIDE!

WELL...

THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR A SNOW-MAN, BUT PLENTY FOR A SNOW-CONE!

THAT WAS A FUN 2 MINUTES IN THE SNOW.

NOW, WE ARE GLAD TO BE BACK IN OUR WARM SCHOOL!

WE BROUGHT IN SOME SNOW TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN!  WE KNOW THAT IT WILL MELT BECAUSE OUR SCHOOL IS WARM INSIDE!

WE LEFT 3 CUPS OF WATER OUTSIDE.  WE KNOW THAT THE TEMPERATURE HAS TO FALL BELOW 32 DEGREES IN ORDER TO FREEZE.

WE WILL CHECK TO SEE IF OUR WATER IS FROZEN!

HOORAY FOR SNOW DAYS!

Hip Hip Hooray! It's 100's Day!

We had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of Kindergarten!

We cannot believe we have been in school this long.

We have made many new friends and we have learned a lot!

Today....

we counted 100 straws and 100 dogs!

We had fun counting to 100 by 1's, 5's and 10's!

We read 100 Days of School and Kindergarten Count to 100!

We like singing and moving to 100 day songs!

We took 100 GIANT STEPS!

We rolled the number cube to get to 100!

Thanks to all the kids who brought 100 pennies!  The penny fairy is near!

We made a 100's Day snack!

We put our snacks in groups of 10 and practiced counting by 10's!

Wow!  10 groups of 10 makes 100!

100'S DAY IS WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH!

We have some fun activities planned and would like for everyone to participate!

1. Please bring a collection of 100 pennies in a baggie.

2. Dress like you are 100 years old on Wednesday!
