Snow Storm in September
Mrs. Ohlendorf was our "fantastic" substitute yesterday!!!! She came back for a morning visit to have a snow storm in Mrs. Janak's room. She brought "newspaper" for each child to use. The newspaper soon became a robe, a napkin, blanket and last a winter coat for going out side in the cold. Then the kids pretended to have a snow storm using their newspaper for snow. They had the most fun making snow balls and having a snow fight. Mrs. "O" is so much fun! We hope she visits again soon!!

Our "BROWN" Experiment!
Today is “BROWN” day in our room. We had fun conducting a special science experiment. We are also learning about our five senses. First, we used our sense of “SIGHT” to look at the unlabeled brown powder we poured in the bowl! The kids had fun making predictions about what the powder could be.

Then we used our sense of “SMELL” to see if we thought it was going be something good or bad!
Next, we added MILK and took turns stirring it.
Just in case you're worried we did wash our hands!!!!
We made more predictions of what we thought it was going to be!!!
We stirred some more!!!!
What do we think it looks like????
Finally we used our sense of "TASTE"!!!!!
YUM! YUM! YUM!
Stay tuned for more FUN!!
