Earth Day helps us celebrate Earth’s unique place in the universe!  People all over the world celebrate Earth Day in hopes to protect the plants, animals and people and to clean up the world we live in.

We had fun celebrating Earth Day!  We learned why it is important to recycle and resuse in order to conserve our resources for the future!  We also learned about why it is important respect all life on Earth.  The ways we treat our Earth have great impact on all life on Earth.
We watched some educational videos about Earth!

We had fun making an Earth person to show how much we love the Earth!

We made hats using recycled newspaper, tissue paper and plants!  It's fun to reuse and recycle!

We went on a nature scavenger hunt!!

We read our list so we would know what to find!

Off we Go!

 We found lots of treasures!

We found sticks

 and beautiful rocks
 and fuzzy things

 and things that are straight

 and things that are rough!

We looked for something green and two kinds of leaves!

This tree was rough and "fun to climb"!

We also had a little fun at the park!

This was a lot of fun!

We also made a list of things we could recycle!

Some of the these included: paper, plastic, bottles, lids, buttons, newspaper, tissue paper, glass, books

At the end of the day we had an Earth Day treat!

This Earth Day treat was "delicious"!

 Yum! Yum!
We love our Earth!
