We can "take away"!

We are getting ready for first grade!  We know how to use subtraction to find out how many are left over!

This week we read about Swimmy the fish and his family! 

 Swimmy and the other fish learn that it is better to stick together than  to swim alone!

We worked together to find out how many fish were left in our ponds!

We had fun acting out word problems!!

This was one hungry caterpillar!

We learned that subtraction is taking away one number from another!

We read one our favorite books!

We played "Ants at a Picnic"!

...And we had a little snack!
