We are having fun learning about bats!!
We know that bats are NOT birds!
They are mammals and they are born ALIVE!
We learned that there are about a thousand kinds of bats.
We think it is neat that bats hang upside down and look for food at night!
Most bats eat fruit or bugs, but we learned that some eat frogs and fish.
Bats are good because they eat insects that are bad for crops and people.
We learned that bats will not harm us unless they are sick. We should never ever touch or pick up a bat!
We know that bats are wild animals and we could never have them as pets, but we are not scared of bats!
